I) INTRODUCTION
The Prêmio Investidor Profissional de Arte (PIPA) is a partnership between Investidor Profissional and MAM-Rio.
Why did Investidor Profissional decide to create PIPA?
The initiative has a lot to do with our deepest conviction that it is necessary to think “out of the box”, be it in investment strategies, be it in the investment process.
We have always thought it important to question the conventional ways of looking at companies, the market and even our own role as managers. This has enabled us to establish a closer relationship with those who share our “world view”.
Just as we have benefited from finding companies that the market did not look at with due attention, we intend, using the “PIPA”, to give stimulus and acknowledgement to artists, their ideas and viewpoints that have not yet achieved recognition, and offer them the opportunity to exhibit their work at the MAM-Rio
The award was created in partnership with the MAM, whose continuous process of improvement we are supporting with this initiative.

- 04/09/2010 – Launch of PIPA and its Regulation
- 04/14/2010 – Press conference at the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo
- 04/30/2010 – Formation of the Council of PIPA and definition of the criteria for inclusion of the indicated in the catalog of PIPA
- 05/31/2010 – Announcement of list of Indicators
- 06/15/2010 – Deadline for the receipt of nominations by the Indicators
- 07/15/2010 – Announcement of PIPA’s finalists
- 09/18/2010 – Opening of exhibition of PIPA at MAM and announcement of the names of the members of the Award Jury
- 10/28/2010 – Award Ceremony
- 11/07/2010 – End of exposure of PIPA at MAM
